There's a shift that happens in relationships that often goes unnoticed.
You're still talking. Still showing up. Still spending time together.
But underneath it, something starts to fade.
This activation will help you see how connection is either strengthened or weakened in the smallest moments.
Watch this first
Take a minute with these 3 questions.
Don't overthink it. Just write what comes up.
Think about your recent interactions with someone close to you.
Where are you most likely to turn away, through distraction, quick
responses, or partial attention?
In those moments, what usually pulls your attention away?
And how might that be experienced by the other person?
In your next conversation with someone important to you:
What is one specific way you will intentionally turn toward them, such as
slowing down, reflecting back what they said, or acknowledging their
feeling?
And when you feel distracted or rushed, how will you bring your attention
back in that moment?
Take a moment.
You just identified one of the quiet ways connection gets weakened,
or rebuilt, in everyday moments.
Most people wait for a big breakthrough.
But connection is usually shaped in smaller choices than that.
This is where understanding starts becoming something you can practice,
moment by moment.
